Young Couples Workshop

In one of the group sessions during the workshop attended by the 46 participants, the men were asked what difficulties husbands generally face in married life. The women were asked what difficulties wives face. Though it was a general question they came out with actual difficulties they were facing. When the answers were shared, they said that it is not easy in real life to tell the partner about the difficulties they face and so, in spite of being married for a few years, it was the first time they came to know about the difficulties of their spouses. Making use of their realization that they needed to change themselves, they were asked to close their eyes and ask God’s help to change and become more lovable to the partner. Thus, instead of giving a lot of theoretical knowledge, the course was geared to strengthening their bond and deepening their intimacy to be able to remain united in the love of God.
